Founder & CEO, Mike Etuhoko

Mike Etuhoko helps CEOs, boards, founders and C-suite executives turn complex risks into competitive advantage. He partners with senior leaders in the energy and adjacent industries, navigating transformation, investor pressure, and strategic inflection points such as decarbonization, AI disruption and growth transitions. Through a blend of core energy coaching, strategic advisory, and leadership development, he helps leadership teams align purpose, performance, and long-term value creation.

Over three decades with TotalEnergies, Shell, KPO, and HCML, he led transformations creating billions in value.

An award-winning Sloan Fellow (London Business School), IPEC certified executive coach and accredited board director, he founded and has led Protekz Inc. since 2008. His research on energy leaders and the energy transition informs work in governance, ESG & climate, innovation, and M&A.

A 2025–26 SPE Distinguished Lecturer, he’s also pursuing a DBA focused on Generative AI and leadership resilience. Mike blends technical rigour and human leadership to drive clear decisions, disciplined risk appetite, and 90-day movement for boards.
